My $0.02 - the post-war design (rods clamped together in one point) is boring, and is already available through Electra, and others. Get funky with some futuristic meets retro, pre-war split rod set up and draw some attention! if you are gonna do it, might as well make it UNIQUE!

If you want to build a fastback, I have a set of Schwinn S-6's with a Sturmey Archer 3-speed hub. They still have original fastback tires on them, but the tires are shot. Do not have a shifter. Good Luck!

...I forgot to mention - I paid about as much for this as one of those forgettable pieces of garbage found new in Costco, etc! Less than half what the guy paid new from one of the best LBS here in AZ - Rage Cycles in Scottsdale.
