I just got a 1993 Trek 930 lug frame that is going to have to be restored. Trek's website says they won't release decals to "civilians". e-bay doesn't seem to have any. Anyone know of a good source, or someone who can reproduce at a reasonable price?

The problem with a lot of people is that they think if they put "x"$ worth of parts in something, they can sell for twice as much. 99% of the time you're lucky if you can get HALF back. Unfortunately, there a sucker around once in a great while that will buy something like that, and then...

Don't sweat it unless you weigh 300+ pounds. Use 14g spokes, though :wink:

I think that's a good idea. The only reason people were able to sell bikes like that was because of the "bubble" economy and all the "fake" money floating around. Those days are gone. People can't spend money on non necessities.

How is it putting decals on powdercoat? Do they adhere the same as on paint?
