    Champagne wishes and Cavalier dreams

I've seen a few Vistas, mostly with the Schwinn knockoff headbadge, but a friend has one that's a complete ripoff of a 70's Motobecane road bike. I suppose their specialty was building knockoffs...

    Vintage Bicycle Workstand

Wow, that's a legendary find! The stand will last a lifetime. 8)

MONGOOSE KOS KRUISER BUILD (6/06 - FINISHED)

Re: SOMETHING'S COMING That's much cheaper than I've been quoted, it will be interesting to see their work. Best of luck!

    MTB Tribute Newsboy Special...

Nice concept, and the High Sierra was a good bike. I've got an old Trek 950 frame that needs a new life, might do something similar...

    Hercules 10 speed

Nice Herc! I spotted a similar Royal Scot at a bike shop recently, and I was very tempted to grab it, but the shop owner wouldn't budge on the price and wouldn't let me test ride it. :x It needed too much work, so I passed. The Scot was gold with similar Hurrt derailleurs and the same cranks...

    Annual church sale

Good luck, and don't skimp on the photos! The way my luck runs, I'd get myself whipped into a lather before the sale, only to find a pile of Roadmasters and Nexts. :|

    What a maroon!

I'm with you, the Rudge is hot! I've got a battered lady's version on the back burner, I need to get it rolling soon...

    Schwinn Approved by Giant

I agree, they're still pretty common and weren't very high end. They are usually well made frames, and good cheap candidates for project bikes.

got a free 1 dont know about "help"

Agreed, it looks like a cheap Chinese bike. Cleaned up, it could bring $75 on craigslist depending on the values in your area...

1970s Sears Disc Brake 10 spd. "ideas"

Pretty cool, I bet it squeals like a pig when you apply the brake! :D

    Wicker and Bamboo

Cool bike. I've seen a similar example popping up on one of the Florida Craigslist sites over the last few months. The seller says it was brought over from Viet Nam, where it was customized with the covering. It's the perfect bike if you have a matching rattan living room set...

    Lurker goes legit

Welcome aboard Sailor Ben, there's always room for one more Gundalow captain! I'm reminded of the time I made the mistake of sailing my little Hobie across the path of an oil tanker a few miles off Odiorne Point... Fun times...

    VINTAGE MOUNTAIN BIKES

Here's my 1994 Univega Alpina 606-s, which I got in exchange for a modern Diamondback Response (...which I found at a thrift shop for $50 8) ) I dig the bent chainstays... And after a few tweaks:

    Lucky with the ladies...

That is really a looker, great find! An added bonus is that you won't ever have to worry about your skirt fouling up the spokes!

    69' Raleigh S.A. 5 speed

Great find, that's an uncommon hub! What are your plans for the bike?

Welcome aboard! Get that cruiser straight over to the boys in marketing. :D

    Radonneur

That's going to be an interesting project. I would have paid 10 bucks just for the stem and bars, good find!

Unwanted 10 speed turns into stylish roadster

Nice job! I'll try to post some pics of my Panasonic when I get it back together, it's going to be similarly kitted out.

    Raleigh 20

Davie is just a few minutes north of Miami. It's not far, but it's probably not worth the expense to ship a Twenty, since they weigh fourty  On the other hand, I do enjoy a nice road trip up US27...

    '58 Humber

I doubt the eBay bike is earlier than late 60's, the aluminum badge is a giveaway.
