    Are my prices to high?

Hey guys. I have been trying to sell these danged bikes for a few months now with no success. I have dropped my prices a few times, but I just cant afford to take much of a loss on them. What the heck? I have barley gotten any interest on thecabe, here, or on CL. I live in the home of Fat Tire...

    swiss army bicycle

J.Steen, you wouldn't happen to know where I can get parts for a swiss army, would you? My brother's is missing one of the races from the crank, and I'm having a bear of a time finding one here in the states. I found one guy who said he might have one, and would charge me $130 for it, weather it...

Can a Springer Fork Handle MOderate MTB Terrain?

If the frame is a Chicago built Schwinn it should be fine. The springer on the other hand...maybe an old one would hold up, but I wouldn't trust a re-pop.

My Three Bikes - Pic Heavy -

Man, that Raleigh is clean. Have you heard of Selle An Atomica saddles? They seem right up your alley, and they are one of the most comfy road seats you will ever lay your cheeks upon, plus they are only $10 more then the Brooks B-17. I have one on my Surly touring bike and friggen love it.

    #@$%* stem!

Hey guys. I'm taking apart a typical 50's Hercules English 3 speed bike. It has a standard stem on it (I think) and it wont come out. It twists around fine, so the stem itself isn't stuck. Its something else. I cant get the the bolt that runs through it all the way out. It twists and twists but...

    Tour De Fat

I saw a few bikes from this site there! A few from the build off I think, as well as others. It was an excelent ride this year, and by far the most bikes I have ever seen. I was on a beat to hell Red and cream Autocycle missing the headlight.

    Official Jalopy thread

Your bike is welcome here for certain, that is just my interpretation, its such a beautiful cycle. :D "Also note, the meaning of the term "Jalopy Cycle" is to be interpreted by the individual. The the listed definition is just suggested."

    Official Jalopy thread

Jalopy Cycle: A modest bicycle with little more purpose then transportation, and pride in jurryrig skills. There is little intended aesthetic value in these vehicles, and what is done to "spruce up" a jalopy is generaly done on a extremely meager budget. The general public would usually precieve...

    Rat Rod Phantom

I personally like it original. I ride an original 47 Autocycle in similar condition daily. If it gets a little ding or scratch you wont be heartbroken. Its a rare bike, and in pretty nice original condition. Besides, if you give it a fancy resto, people will just think its a re-pop. You aught...

    Official Jalopy thread

This thred is intended for Jalopy bikes! The original rats. By jalopy I mean crusty paint, bald tires, rusty fenders, etc. This isn't for those shiny new Electras, or classy rods. Were talkin bikes you pulled out of the swamp and put some air in the tires! Here is my personal favorite jalopy...
