    my bikes

I have a smaller skip tooth sprocket off of a ladys Dayton from 40's. It would make it quite a bit easier to pedal, but you would still be able to keep the coolness of the skip tooth. PM me if you are interested.

    my bikes

Yep, the green one looks like a Cleveland Welding built Hawthorne. That chainring was most popular on Hawthornes.

The Old Maid *name may change*

The bike looks to be a prewar Cleveland Welding built bike with a Schwinn chain ring. Very nice. :P

Stolen In Madison - $8000 Fixie?

There is a fellow here in town that rides a stunning 20's track bike around. It is a beautiful bike with a very well done restoration. I have seen it laying around town a few times. :|

    Tour De Fat

I'm not sure about any pub cruises going on. I'm underage, so I generally don't follow that kind of stuff. Two years and I may be a little more in the know.

    What Is This

The guys at thecabe can most likely tell you what it is. Im guessing its a dayton by the chainring and seat. It was originally a 26" wheel bike, but someone cut down some pedal blocks and added them to the fender mounts to lower the fenders. Very ingenuitive. :D

    SNEEKI TIKI

For other folks doing the tiki theme thing, this guy usually has some cool tiki car stuff that would be cool on bikes. Might dent your wallet though. http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/ ... ?id=571500

    Show us them cars!

My old 1959 190D Cedes I sold a year ago. A tree ended up falling on it, so I sold it to a guy in Denver who is currently having it professionally restored. I guess that tree was the best thing that has happened to the car! Current ride behind the Hawthorne. It will carry allot of bikes, just...

    1958 Lenton Grand Prix

Hello folks, I just thought a few of you might enjoy my old Raleigh. I ride it pretty much daily when I am not riding my 46 Roadmaster. Shes a 1958 Lenton Grand Prix, Reg Harris race model. Shes all original paint, equipped with Campagnolo Gran Sport and Cyclo Benelux components (suicide...

    hawthorne crank question

Get rid of that crank. I had one that was bent the same way on my Schwinn speedster. It ended up breaking, meaning I lost control and slammed into the side of a Cutlass.

    Farber Supersonic-"Detroit Supersonic"

The bike is a prewar Cleveland Welding made for the Farber Bicycle CO for sure. The drop stand ears were something they dropped after the war. I have a bike almost exactly like yours, just tank model and very beginning of postwar construction. They still had the dogleg crank right after the war...

    Wow, this thing is UGLY.

I think the most frightening part is that your only brakes are the old marrow coaster.
