Thanks guys. No sun today - but at least some daylight pics. Took this bad boy for a ride this morning. Rides surprisingly nice. Needs two more teeth in the back and either a shorter stem or swung handlebars.

Pics in the sun will follow as soon as I get home from work earlier. Today I managed to connect the rear disc brake. Will have to build some kind of adapter for the front brake next.

Thanks Luke. Tires are 26x3.0 Kenda flame in the back and 26x1.5 Kendas up front. The saddle won't stay - but it's not gonna be a cruiser saddle. And: no Ape on this one! ;)

I designed this frame for an small bike business over here in germany some years ago. Only 10 frames were made and this one is the last ever made (just for me). Since I've been collecting purple anodized parts for another project but could not use them I decided to slap them on this frame an...

    Klunker? Klunker!

News! .... after I got a Chrome-Lowrider-Frame for cheap I decided to built a "MyKlunker-Look-A-Like"-VeryOldSchool-BMX: This is how it looks right now: Gonna change the black parts into blue anodized or chrome or polished.

    Dragster-Trike

thanks for the input. I just wanted to get it done for the cruise next weekend. Since it's nearly new there are no imperfections in the paint - so I planed to leave it this way. On the other hand I want an internal gear hub and I NEED a differential. So I'm basically forced to hack and weld...

    Dragster-Trike

Had to fabricate some new handlebars. The shorter version was out of reach (at least if you have a fat belly like I do ;) ) - these new ones are way better. Fastened the wheelie bars and gave it a try - unfortunately the trike axle is missing a differential - so in the moment the front wheel...

Hawthorne to WWII Service Bicycle - Re-engineered as a Trike

Re: Hawthorne to WWII Service Bicycle Good to hear you're fine. Welcome back. The owner of rinienterprises.com didn't take your route. :(

    Dragster-Trike

Last weekend some friends of mine brought me this trike: I couldn't say "no" (altough my garage is full of bikes, parts and projects) Okay - the trike won't stay stock for sure. I took the front wheel from my BMX (because it has a similar design) and slaped a 20x1.5" tire on. In the back I...

    SHOW US YOUR KLUNKERZ

I have a few of those SACHS hubs. I guess the Shimano rear is just rare over here in europe. Thanks for the link - but shipping to Europe is more expensive than the hub itself. :( got that frame from ebay the other day. On the badge it says "Xplosiv". Unfortunately I don't know more about it.

    SHOW US YOUR KLUNKERZ
