bump , I just checked the above ebay link and Ian is still selling these. Tip - coke bottle grips were a bit loose for me a few years ago. A wrap of hockey stick tape on the bars, under the grips, works great.

Sort and bag in slider style zipper bags helps a lot for me. For loose , frayed cable ends , trim as needed. I then cover the end with the smallest heat shrink tubing that will fit over them. Butane lighter, at the tip of the flame, for a clean heat source to shrink the tube.

Seeing that picture got me to thinking about tire construction for flat protection. Generally if there is an added belt like Kevlar , it is under the tread only. Few purpose built tires have bead to bead protection. Sidewalls are much thinner, in general.

I think that it was designed to fit on top of the down tube. That is where I have the same battery can mounted on my mens' Spaceliner with horizontal ( not 7 ) tank.
