sweet bike i had one too but mine was yellow. i hated those stems though, they always slipped.

i concur, i used on brand of primer and tried 2 different paints and got the same results, cracking, and runs. then got the same brands of primer and paint and the finish was good.

is it possible for you to post a pic of it cause were having some issues trying to i.d. it.

does it have a kickstand mount on it? my buddy has the same bike thats been spray painted a bunch and looks just like that.

i've had about 30+ vintage bmx bikes between 79 to 85 that are now gone but 1, my 84 p.k. and now i regret selling. but the money was good so do any of you have any that you regret getting rid of?

i built this up awhile back and something just doesnt look right, im thinking some of those monark style forks and putting the tank on.

right, everything looks like an s&s newport except that gusset at the kickstand area. i'm intrigued now :)

i was thinking gary littlejohn at first but most of those bmx style frames like that had a straight bar for the down tube. everything i see screams s&s but like you said, that kickstand area is throwing me off. cook bros. made one as well.
