Re: 84 GT SURVIVOR

Okay...this one's going to be called Switch-O-Change-O.

The original frame and fork was a Junior set up so it was pretty small....definitely too small for an adult to ride.

I found a guy locally who had an 85 GT Mach One F/F in nice shape that he wanted to let go at a great price so I bought it today.

Got it home and cleaned it all up and started swapping all of the components over. Not sure anyone ever ran an Epoc and a Suntour lock, but what the heck.

The wheel set is currently at Don Johle's Bike World in Garland getting all new stainless spokes and blue nipples.

Not totally sold on the seat, but it will do for now. Also need a repop set of Mach One decals to finish the build.

Re: 84 GT SURVIVOR - (12/23 UPDATE)

I'm getting closer.

Just waiting for my decal set and the blue MKS pedals to arrive. :D

Had the wheels relaced with some new stainless spokes over at Don Johle's Bike World in Garland.

Re: 84 GT SURVIVOR - (01/10 UPDATE)

I dont think you understand how bad I need a White and Red JT Decal! Any chance I can buy one from that site without buying 1,000,000 GT decals along with it?

Yeah...just click on the "Singles" link and it should show you all of the individual decals that he offers.

Louis is a good guy and his decals are really nice.

Sweet!

So you must be hidding something from us. Isn't that enough decals to complete 4 mach ones?

Another clean machine. When are you going to try lacing your own?
