I wondered what this chainguard may have come off of. I found it along with some other bike and tricycle parts, in a ghost town dumpsite out in the desert. Looks a little bigger than yours, probably off a 24" or 26" bike.

That's an awesome little bike and I love the story. Can't wait to see what you do with it. :P

That's a beautiful frame. Love the shape, gussets and paint. Can't wait to see this one finished.

I couldn't have helped to identify it, but I like it! I want one! Loop tails are my favorite frame.

Re: Touch of Trash! Thanks man, I really appreciate it! This is my first build, good to see that someone is enjoying it as much as I am! The front end really works well too, I thought the spring was going to be too weak, but it's perfect.

This morning. I found this bike out by the dumpster along with a couple of others, happy Black Friday to me! I'd like to know more about it, aproximate age etc... I'm going to have the frame repaired and use it as my next rat project. The guy who threw it out also has some others that look like...

Thanks, I started to paint them red, but to be honest, I was too lazy! Just left the rust on the sides. The red is really common. I painted the rims on my schwinn project "Touch Of Trash" red, I thought about tan but couldn't seem to make them fit in with what I wanted to do with the bike...
