    Re: '78 Good Vibrations I'm running 52/20 as well, but I do have a Sturmey Archer 3 speed hub out back. Makes a BIG difference!!! And I agree, I wish they would go back to our frame geometry....so much more comfortable!!!!

    yeah, but these cheap chinese bikes of today won't survive as our old USA built bikes of the 30's, 40's, 50's , 60's, 70's still do.

    I do it because it is cheaper than therapy, and it is my therapy. To take something old, discarded, cast-off, left for dead and make it work again is a great feeling. To see the smile on peoples faces when I either give them a bike, or give them back their bike done over is well worth it. I...
