$5 will usually get you a leather thrift store jacket (head to the woman's section) a. theres usually more jackets to choose from. b. you'll find a lot more trench style jackts in the womans section even the seam in a sleeve can be turned into a nice little detail.

i'd be more inclnded to think somebody bent them intentionally. that or the factory. theres no way that happened by accident. :)

couple canadian bikes to add to the mix. what kid didn't want a ccm maurader well the kids have become older, but the desire to own this bike still runs rampid in canada. and of course the ccm flyte.

i think this has a lot to do with the bike itself. this lowrider has barely 1.25" of clearance. with the riding position also being very low, the bike is very stable. theres no speed wobble, even when our starting out. when the peddles do hit the ground, ya barely feel it (ya hear it) the bike...

reality check buy a friggin car. if you ever hear of a day where i spend $4000+ on a rusty bicycle, please do me a favor and just shoot me in the head. :lol:

ok so what makes this one deluxe fenders? and the deluxe printed on the chainguard? ( 1969 i believe) obviously the forks and cream paint are not original.(had the flat fok with small wheel and fender-black tractor grip tires front and back) no signs of a shifter mounted on the frame.

yeah if its not cracked, a little epoxy and you should be golden. thats all the forks are, carbon fiber and epoxy.

most will work but some won't. theres an element of forgiveness. you just need to set the second gear (n) total slack will give you first, taunt 3rd (or vise versa) suntour shifters work perfectly also.
