Love that bike. Here is what pretty much "stock" looks like. Mine came with Xbrace bars. How did you figure out it was a '36? I think these came dressed up as Airflows also.

Got this one a while back from rustymotors. Been getting rid of a ton of bikes, not this one, yet. :wink: Some sort of Bavarian bike. Has Continental balloon tires.

So, I bought a Hollywood for the wheelset from julesjunk about 6 months ago. When I finally go to pick up the bike, he says that he sort of sold it to someone else but hands over this Fleet. :D :D I had a tank already, he provided a light with a lens, and I had a few other bits laying around...

These are great and STUNNING bikes when they are all cleaned up. Just start soaking the hub with something now through the oiler port. They are usually all gunked up and reluctant to shift if they have sat for long. Nice score!

That is a Raliegh built bike. I think their's was called a London Flyer. Friend of mine has a Western Auto badged one.

That's the kind of bike that keeps you looking for more!

I think Schwinn has been making a "DX" cruiser for a few years, but it's a modern bike. They never did a faithful repop of the '46 DX to my knowledge. After I got my '46 DX I did a lot of web searches for that term and never ran across anything like you are describing. It might just be a...

I'd keep the Columbia for sure, the Pilot and probably the Higgins also. Roadmaster is a nice bike also. I'd probably put the best seat on the Columbia, that's the best one for sure!

It must have been. It's stamped Raleigh, hasn't been messed with much - still has the Raleigh tires.
