80 Motobecane touring... fun to ride around town.. Going up grades the top bar really flexs side to side? Is that normal for a light frame? I havent noticed this with old heavy cruiser bikes.
To age that light..Try rubbing a thin coat of amber shellac on your headlight with a soft rag. I have done that to some guitar pickguards! :) HomeDepot has amber colored shellac.
Here is my mid 80s Murray baseball bike It was a girls 26inch turquoise Monteray cruiser i found for $10. at a sale in Centralia Wa. cost about $75. to build and a couple weeks time.
