Fun show. Cool bikes and parts for sale.
Got a Park PCS1 repair stand yesterday for $75 and the guy threw in the tool tray. Seemed like a pretty good deal to me. Can't wait to try it out today.

I have a prewar Colson fork that has drilled holes for the front wheel to mount. My question is...would it be a really bad thing to make slots like later year bikes use ? I don't want to devalue the frame. Just want to make it easier to use different wheels. Any input from Rat Rod/CABE guys...
A Craigslist find a few weeks ago. Serviced all bearings, cleaned frame/rims, regeared, new tires/tubes and swapped seat and bar. It seems to ride good and with the sprocket change (19T-22T) wheelies can be done...just not by an old guy like me.
Got this 24" Speedster yesterday and it checks out to be a Feb. 1978 model. To me it just screams out for low rise ape hangers, short sissy bar, and nanner seat. what do you think ?
It has rear one speed shamano coaster brake and front hand brake with S6 rims.
I was looking around at my bike parts and pieces and started to assemble a mockup of a possible board tracker. I started with an old 24" frame that was a 10 speed and added the forks from an OCC 16" chopper. Easy fit with a small mod. Gotta love that. Then I stuck on a set of 26" S2 wheels on...

Get a suitable size piece of leather off ebay (almost 1/4" thick). You need to do some research...

This is a 1950 Schwinn B6 that I got a while back ... lots of wrong and homemade parts. So it will make a good platform for the build off.][/img]This my starting point for the Long Black Train.][/img]

I have been trying to help a neighbor date his Murray Strato Line. According to my internet research it might be a 1964 because of the serial # MO4 27 33271 but it sure looks 1950's to me. It has a two vertical springs springer and rims simular to Schwinn 2S with baloon tires. I wasn't...
