    Updated Brittany Commuter

LOL, I bought some vintage ones at a swap meet, but I was so excited that I found some cheap, I didn't notice that they were 1/2 inch...anyway, I need another funds holiday (father's, birth, anniversary, etc...) before the wife will agree to let me spend any more money on it or I have to sell...

    When In Galveston...

Nice...I really like the place and the owner is pretty cool. On Sunday, he was grilling burgers and hotdogs and giving free beer. We took part a little :) The cool thing was that my teenager, who doesn't really like cruising with us much, really liked some of the banana bikes so I may have...

    When In Galveston...

This is probably old news, as often as I go to Galveston, TX, I finally made it to Island Bicycle Company... The guy has some really great bikes, new and old, but my wife and kids were with me and so I didn't get to spend as much time as I wanted there  This was probably a good thing...

    Roland Coral Cruiser

My daughter has been hitting me up to get her a cruiser but as much as she doesn't ride her MTB, I wasn't goign to buy a new bike... Found this the other night waiting to be picked up by the garbage truck and thought I could assemble this for her pretty quickly with not a lot of work... Don't...

    Raleigh Easy Ridin'

Sweet! I wish I found one this clean, but it was the only bike I could find that was close to what I needed, cheap, and not a retail throw back... The guy had it as Vintage, just how old is the bike? I rode it last night some and one thing I am going to change right away is the seat

I hope none of you guys are Doctors by trade, I'd hate to think there may be someone out there with the potential to harvest organs from someone who isn't quite dead yet...

    Raleigh Easy Ridin'

Yup, I figured this was as close to a 26" BMX I was going to get for a while with out droppiong over 2 or 3 hundred dollars... I saw that the front wheel was different than the back, I wonder which is original... I am going to check with the guy I bought it from to see if he has another wheel...

    Raleigh Easy Ridin'

Bought this today cheap... Pretty scratched up, but it rode great and will fit my immediate need for a bike to use with a front mounted child carrier... It's got some cool parts I can use when I am finished with it for the toddller...

    Schwinn Finds!

So what is a fair price for a World Tourist??? This past weekend I saw one at a storage center garage sale for $75 in pretty good shape... Check it out: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2272/2470131708_9865918435_o.jpg The guy also had a Murray Monterrey that I think was $50...

Some info on Sears brands for UK members please

I just remembered, in addition to the tires, I had to replace the cottered cranks, the pedal threads were stripped on both sides... Here are a few of the before pictures: (alt+p) (alt+p) (alt+p) (alt+p) (alt+p)

Some info on Sears brands for UK members please

While I don't have the expertise, I can tell you one of the Sears bikes was a Free Spirit Britanny. I have one I picked up at a church rummage sale for $10... I put new tires and it rides really well. I am taking it a part right now to polish out all the rust and to Rat Rod it a bit...
