Are all of you saying that this "dust cover" was originally a friction fit into the end of the hub?

In the top picture you see how what I call a dust cover is loose. How is that held in place? In the middle picture this is the parts of my front hub. Are they laid out in order of how they go on the axle. I know the hub is not in picture. In the bottom picture...loose dust cover.

Where do you find new bearings Excel #7...can you pick them up locally? What type of store?

I have taken apart my hubs and wondered what type of lubricant I use for the bearings and inside the hub. I have a New Departure Hyatt Model D rear hub.

I'm new at this, so I didn't know what to expect....Identical or just one that fits....I guess it's what you want. Who would know when it's done? I do see both of them though...thanks for the help....

That tank had a curved bottom edge....I believe mine should be straight on the bottom...is that correct?

I have been told this is a 50-51 CWC Road Master Frame. Is there other information I need such as dimensions for the tank and where would I find one?

I am trying to find a master link in the chain but I am not having success. How do I separate the chain to get it off the frame?

The chainring is one of the three on the post above. I do not notice a badge outline. The original paint was spray painted over and I sanded the spray paint down but do not see a mark where badge was.

What else can I look for or post pictures of to identify the brand so I can get correct badge and tank?
