I had to take a frame down to my LBS to get correct seat post, so the kid pulls out one with a bend in it and tries to shove it into the frame, obviously it does not fit, he says it will and i said ok but I dont wont the bend in it, he said he can cut it off, Ok I said I want you to install it...

I have a cruiser ( unknown make & year) I was told maybe 70's-80's anyways I cant seem to find a seat post that fits. I have tried a 7/8's and is too big is there any out there that are smaller in diameter? The smallest I can find is 7/8's.

Just wondering if anyone puts a clear coat over a flat black paint job. I have a frame I have rattled can flat black (not primer) and am wondering if I clear coat it will it be a glossy finish?
