Been so creatively calling this ‘the red bike’.

So in the build thread for this one @rrtbike suggested black wall tires... I hadn’t been able to shake the possibility of how good that’d look. So, when a nice pair of grand tycoons became available out of my stash, I knew right where they were goin.
Also, swapped the fork to a ‘82 Schwinn fork.

HTF - VDC or Tuf Neck Cruiser Bars - try BMXMUSEUM from time to time they come up.

These are VDC cruiser bars. As Thebigorangecat suggested. They pop up from time to time. The are easily one of my favorite bars. I’d check eBay periodically as well. Expect to pay $100-250 depending on color/condition.
There is a modern ‘copy’ of them that is sold as ‘the devil’s bend’. I’ve seen them on eBay from time to time. I think they are a lil over $100.

Dad picked the water ski up outta someones thash with the idea of me making a banana seat out of it. So...

Gonna use the kickback after I paint the yellow stripes blue, red, or black
And some tall CW style bars.
