Might be a good idea to put it a bit higher in the final version, so that the bottom line of the panel and the bottom of the "motorblock" line up. Especially as it seems that the hight of the tin box is almost equal to that of the panel... (But that's nitpickin' in a very early stage..)

I agree about the allignment. Currently it is just held where the brace and clamps allowed me to easily secure it for mockup.

I'll be honest, I still don't quite... understand... this version of the build. I hate saying it, but it just feels like you're strapping an engine on the front of the Cycle Truck. It's a neat idea, don't get me wrong, but that first idea you had with the kiddie car made more sense to me. The body almost perfectly fit the frame, you had the big-and-little tire combo, and you could easily add the engine and some funky name or signage to the side of it. With just the engine, it feels like it's just sort of... tacked on. I'm sure you've got a clear vision for your bike and it's just not clicking with me because you're just mocking it up right now, but I still can't quite wrap my head around the new direction you're taking this build. Regardless, it's your bike to build the way you like, so if this is the way you want to build it, go for it and don't let the naysayers stop you.

Well I do miss the plastic body parts as well, but that would also make it rather like a motorbike, and yet having that engine situated out on the front is like where so many people added an engine to their bicycle, which makes it equally valid.

I am feeling there might be a little joke/reminder of ‘recycled’ coming in here in the best possible way. The completely earth friendley recycled bike with an engine. As another member so clearly defined it 2 stroke foot powered I believe? This is coming from someone who needs to use the electric assist so well shown in other builds.
And by the end with the Kingfish style and doodadery amped up to 11. I can see the headlight blowing peoples minds if it happens too.
I do admit to having fond memories of Moon Equipped and also met the later Japanese owner in person who was a giant petrol head too.

Lately, I've been back and forth with hotrod, streetrod, dragster, ratrod as far as direction for this build. I'll show some of the missing mockups later. Setting that aside, I stopped off at a couple of goodwills today and scored the valve covers I have been hoping for with this supercharged mickey mouse engine. These tiny bread loaf tins are perfect scale.

$1.99? That's almost the retail price!
