She's coming together! Loving it.

Thanks, feels like I am inching closer and closer, but still work to do. I'm digging the look and feeling the vibe of it with every step right now. It really rides wonderfully well too!

Wow, I blinked and this bike gets better and better. I really like that you used the body, looks great.

And I like your coasterbrake clamp:

Thanks, that is the stock clamp that was on the bike.

By the way, I took this pic this morning for you. Dumpster shot with a skull to boot.

The Cardinal appearing close by to you working on your build, "Cardinals appear when angels are near". I believe your creative and user-name sake father is watching over and lending his thoughts on your build.

This build is coming together nicely. The lines, and showing more of that shifter coming through the top all work. This morning when I first looked at it, I thought "nose cone front end". So I went into my primitive Paint and did this:

Then I thought, what shape is that? As I walked into the kitchen for the 3rd cup of coffee....there it was...

With some trimming, and adding of your headers, pipes , etc an old toaster could be your front end.

Then your hot rod motto could be , "Smell my burnt Toast" instead of "Eat my Dust".

I'm sure it was dad checking in on me.

I've actually looked at different goodwill toaster for possible uses, but I still have the engine and original nose the the kiddie car to use.

Sorry for all the likes, I'm just catching up with the last 10 or so pages of this thread. So cool to see it progress and morph into what it will be. I really like how it's coming along with the little car body and the muffin valve covered 'motor'. Very good stuff. And, man, Savannah has got some scenery! Great build, KF, it's really coming along. :113:

Picked up some hot rod speed hole rail material from the tile section of Home Depot.

Now that I know the engine placement more accurately I need to fill the gap and bring the firewall closer. So I measured off the needed amount and sliced the nose. This fills in nicely. I like the slope as well. More like a normal slope from the windshield to the firewall.

The nose is much better proportioned too. More to scale with a hotrod grill
