Just ordered another one of these to use. But I am wondering what it would look like if I had 1/4 red, 1/4 silver, 1/4 red, 1/4 silver???????

I am definitely too cheap to buy one of the SC chains ($36). But I got the first red KMC for free from the LBS that laced my wheel. The second I picked up from http://www.aawyeah.com/ for less than $7 including shipping.

But I have easily justified any parts I have bought for Flex-Liner 7 because of other parts that I have sold. This ENTIRE build is a zero cost build!!!!!!

I just don't want fenders to interupt the flow of this frame. I am not really talking full fenders so much of chopped off accent pieces. Something else to mock up and play around with. It's also another oportunity to add a little color to this build.

I have never seen a bike that made me want to "throw my hands in the air and shake it like I just don't care".

If anything, it's just added motiviation, inspiration, or an R&D Testbed to steal (I mean borrow) from!!!!!!!

It's bee a good week so far even though I haven't done much on Flex-Liner 7.

I remembered the bag of Crunchies that my Aussie co-worker brought over last week. That last for most of Monday.

Then I finally went down to the new "World of Beer" bar last night to sample a few. (Mendecino Eye of the Hawk was the best).

Then I get home tonight and find my 7 Ball drawer pull arrived.

The shifter extension just hasn't been sitting well with me after looking at the photos.

I think I am going to ditch the extension and just mount the 7 ball to the side of the shifter. It should give me plenty to grip on for shifting and I don't have to worry about it clearing the frame. What do you think of the mockups.

Looks good, but could you install a bearing in it and attach it to the shifter handle like a steering knob so that it spins? You could counterweight it so that the 7 always stays upright even after a good spin.
