Fixed the fork issue, cut a seat post and welded it in each fork leg so I could put a 1” headset star nut in each tube.

Painting stuff BLACK.

Final sand, acetone, torch clean, and satin clear on frame.

Found the headbadge, added paint, removed paint, and mounted.

Sanded rust off chainwheel, color burned it and cooled with oil.

Okay, I’m at a point where I can be finished if I need to be, might add some final details, but it is a rideable nice bike now. Hopefully I can get it out for some decent finished photos this week.

That turned out great bud.
It’s size is kinda deceiving, without a rider, it looks like a stretched out 26” cruiser.
Then your son jumps on and BAM! It’s a super cool, pulled from the fire, fat tired 20” beast!

My son likes it, but he requested a tank plate, so I gotta figure out what to make it from, I have some ideas. Also, since this is a pedal scraper I’m going to use my cut off wheel to remove the teeth from the new pedals.

Thanks. He is pretty in love with it, I just put some finishing touches on it.

A little mod to the sissy.

Ground the teeth off the new pedals so that when they scrape they don’t dig into the pavement.
