Finished sanding the rest of the frame and asked Mary to bless the build for me.

Hung the frame in my urban paint booth

And primed it up

Looking good so far, that Huffman chainguard is gonna look great. Maybe a red or white accent in the indent?

Actually the guard and top shroud of the Evanaction fork may be gloss white with accents in turquoise and red.

Always a good feeling when the stripping is done. I'll have to take my next bike down to the local grotto/shrine for the blessing next time. Cant wait to see that Turquoise.

I was really hoping to get some turquoise on the frame tonight, but it rained hard all night. So I stayed in the shop and sanded/prepped all of the other parts. Nothing exciting just tedious. I did like how shiny the bare metal Evanaction fork shroud looked though.

Got up early this morning and primed the small parts before going to work

Then put the first coat of turquoise on VerBoten

Yeah, a lot of that had to do with the mix match of colors on the actual parts. I'm not going for classy roadster. Instead I want flashy hot rod, so it sounds like I'm headed in the right direction.

More rain last night, so picked back up on the painting this morning. Got first coat on the small parts. Unfortunately the paint sprayed like sand on one part, then a couple of wet parts fell from the rack. I'll have to tackle the sand bumps and the smudges from falling after the paint has dried.

I also got the second coat on the frame with no issues.

I like the channel tube for hanging multiple parts to paint. And your "windchime dryer rack"....

Actually, I only paint one piece at a time to avoid overspray from getting on other parts.
I used to use a broom handle, but the channel is a lot better.
The towel rack is freaking awesome for the tight quarters I am in to hand so much stuff to dry. Plust when I am not using it , it doesn't get in the way of anything.

Waiting for paint to dry, so I decided to see if I could pull a gender bender on my teardrop pedals. There was actually a right and left teardrop in the box-o-pedal parts I recently bought. Both had bent axles, but I came up with a way to straighten them once I took them apart.
