We need a thread for Build Off travelers. I'll be heading to Vancouver in August
Vancouver was the last stop on our Alaska cruise. We plan on going around the Philippines soon, I should have a bike to take with me this time.
Maybe not a Colson, but something vintage.

On our way back to the hotel we danced to a street musician sax player and an Italian female Ric Flair fan caught us on video. (sound on). Woooooooooo. That's Amore!!! What a perfect ending to a Silver Anniversary trip!

I haven't been down that way in awhile. With all that construction did they keep the globe?

They are keeping it. Parkers is building a big Parkers, a ChickFilA and a Starbucks around it.

Had an incredible trip to Italy, but now it's time to try and get some idea of what this build wants to be.

I have had this killer 65mm (2.5") nexus 3 speed 10 gauge spoke wheelset from @ind-chuckz for a few years now. I love the smooth curved crown on the rims.

I think whitewalls will look best with the black rims and I have two killer sets that i have won recently on the raffle pages. One is a set of Vans Cult 26x2.1 and another is a big set of 26x3 bricks.

Man these 26x3 bricks are thick. Great look with these rims and fat spokes. Rain has started, so my space is limited.

Those look ridiculous, I’ll be down to grab them later….😏🀣
I will bring my frame/fork down though to see if they fit on Sunday’s Best. My intended rims are 57mm I think. So if they fit with those 65s…..hello? eBay? You there? Yeah, I need to order a set of……” 🀣

On another note, I’m looking forward to seeing how those hoops stretch that Vans out

After confirming that I had good frame clearance with the 26x3 65mm wheelset, I could tell that I wouldn't be able to use many vintage forks with these. So I knocked out the headset cups and put on a Flying Machine Bikes triple tree fork that I won last year from a Braddakine Bike Club charity raffle.
