Love those pedals on there and your red primer bars! The blue and the primer showing through really looks good. This bike has so much continuity now, while still being really custom ! The paint and patina have given it an 'older' more vintage look than before. The blue fork legs = genius! The chrome on the fork really stands out now, and the chain ring and cranks . The blue also really sets off the massive white walls on the fatty rims.

Sacre' bleu !

Found something else i needed to paint. These dirty dog skull bucket cable guides

Hope everyone enjoyed the near realtime updates throughout the day as I moved down the checklist.

I'll catch up later tonight after we go out to dinner. But I basically used up every last ounce of daylight in the courtyard. Pretty much finished assembly. Just a few small items tomorrow morning.
But just in case we get torrential rains that prevent photos, I went for a late dusk early evening ride and got about 10 backup photos. It was a good excuse to test my flashing tailpipe lights too.
I'll update with the last work and ride pics after dinner.

Looking good! It's all coming together.

With all of the paint work I'm curious why you chose to leave the fork rusty? I was expecting it to be red oxide. :39: Just seems to break from the direction you are going with. Not that big of a distraction, just caught my eye and I know you look for all forms of feedback.

Thanks for the input. Similar to the frame on my Rockafella build, as the forks continued to age with the humidity and sweat, I really enjoyed how they looked with the bike. I had planned to leave both legs natural, but decided to add the blue accent with the front legs. I think the natural rusty rear legs plays well with the paint scheme. I could paint them to match the accent primer red, but I'm just not feeling that.

Picking up on the work I did today up until dark.

Got the left skirt and tailpipes mounted up along with the napkin holder heat shield.

Also popped in the dollar store lights covered in red taillight lens tape. Didn't have much light to work at in the courtyard at this point. So I figured it was time to take short ride for backup pics in case of foul weather. Great to put the tailpipe lights to the test.

Rode out to the Pelican newel post house while there was light (but still used Night Mode on my cell camera).

Then down to the fountain. I love it in this light and so few people. A couple of pedicab bike guys (off work) came up on there bikes and wanted to know everything about Uncle Stretch. It used up the remaining light, but it was fun finding people that really dug it and understood both the technical and artistic parts of my build. As we were all riding away, I circled back and asked them to take my pic with the build.

Thanks brother!! Glad you like how things are rolling together. This past week has been a blast to make all of this work together artistically after already hammering out the technical parts and getting a lot of saddle time on this one. The past two days have been 12 hours straight each day on this bike. I'm a bit frazzled, but I think it is practially done. I need to go down my checklist and look over the whole bike in regular lighting tomorrow and see what's left. I am hoping to wrap that all up early and then hope the rain gods continue to shine on me. I really want to get a ride in with @Dr. Tankenstein and the Lowco Liner.

Let's see if this video works. It at least doesn't give me the error I've gotten before.
Can anyone see this?
