Weather was right, so I painted up some brackets and screw heads before starting the rubbings
Got the left tank half rubbed. I mainly tried to first concentrate on getting a defined edge on the pattern. You can see some white tones and a ghost of the Columbia. I tried to keep that a little muted. There are a few speck spots towards the upper rear that i need to touch up where the tape lifted some of the paint while unmasking.
Don't touch that dial!!

Taking it a little slower on the right side. Getting the edges done with fingernail width steel wool. Gotta give my back muscles a break.

Taking it slow with side side. I don't want as much white coming through. This detailed rubbing is making my back muscles knot up, so I'm taking breaks to stretch

This side came out even better after getting the feel for what it took.
Just had to test the tins in place. I still need to layout the rub pattern for the skirts tonight

@Dr. Tankenstein suggested not doing a pattern on the skirts because they are sorta there own pattern already. I agreed and went at it freehand. Got the left one done.
