I really dig that second set of bars. Who made those?

Those were made from Jimmy Peek of Peek Cycles. He does amazing work. I won these in a charity raffle. I had him make a 10" short version of his Evil Twin Peek bars for me.

Here is a link to his FB page:

Those are fun to look at, but I don’t wanna ride a bike that can kill me if I tip it over.

:21::21::21::21::21:

You could always just get a taller pair of them.

You might have been afraid to ride my Western Sizzler build :D :D :D :D
It had pointy ends on the front and the back.

Pointy-headed thinking?
;)
I remember this guy that put a big chrome pike nut on top of the gas cap right in the middle of his gas tank. Definitely not a bike for attempting wheelies.

And far from the most dangerous thing I ever saw on a bike.

I’ll have to dig thru my photos…

I bet it took about six margaritas before this seemed like a good idea.

Not at all, big tall "APE" hangers are always cool. Free your mind and the rest will follow. :D

Here is another set of fun tall apes.

And probably best of all was @pvwacko 's King Krate build from a few years back.

There are lots of fancy bikes that I wouldn’t want to ride every day. I think you’re starting a compendium here.

BINGO!!!! My goal for any build off is to build a bike that makes ME happy. Sorry, but your riding criteria aren't factored in at all. :D

That wasn’t a shot across the bow buddy.

Maybe I’m just not taking this build-off thing seriously enough.

Otherwise I’d be working on the bike right now instead of playing games with you.

Cheerio!

Choppers need to have two things:
  1. An intrinsic threat of harm to the rider if they should allow their attention to wander too far away from the riding experience at any time
  2. A name that would make people upset if uttered in polite company
Anything else is just a bicycle/motorcycle.

I'll just ride my bike then, thanks, because the metal just doesn't care what you call it except in Hollywood.

I do care about my two daughters and 8 granddaughters. Three of them are not yet adults.

I just can't do all the offensive/snakes/skulls/daggers/..../patches/tattoos stuff. My arms and all my leathers are blank.

I have a terminal case of family man's disease. If I was going to war it would be different.

No worries at all with any critiquing. That is all part of the process and feedback that makes us build better bikes in these build offs. I'm an engineer as well, but I'm a EE, so I only pay attention to whether or not electrons will flow with the lines of the build. Everything else is up for grabs when I start mockups :D .

In the kerfuffle I missed this one entirely.

I did mostly structural, but a few other oddities of the CAM/CAD/CAE world too.
Wish I still had access to the programmable tubing bender . . .*sigh*

Anyhow, if electrons start flowing thru my build, it means I finally broke out the TIG welder, because those lamps are just for show.

Funny thing that "family man" disease... Hits everyone differently. This art was purchased for me from one of my tattoo artist by my wife to celebrate the arrival of our first child.
