Going over the bike and checklist. I've had these old clay poker chips and the colors were perfect so I mounted them on the fork tube caps.

Gaskill speedi time. Just had to try it.
First tested it on the crossbar, but it wasn't right

Then mocked it between the crossbar and the stem and i liked it

I remembered that I had the stem mount from the light i cutup. Perfect

I feel like the rubbed out sections of the tank need a little more something. So I attached two more clay poker chips. This time with an eagle.

I wish everyone could see this bike in person, it’s pretty impressive. You would think that because it’s almost 1.25 as big everywhere as a β€˜normal’ bike, it would be a lumbering, difficult to ride or move around. But, it’s surprisingly nimble.
Super comfy, cool ride. πŸ‘ŠπŸΌ

Obviously @Dr. Tankenstein and I rode our builds today and we had a great time. I'll post some pics of that later.
First, I want to catch up on the last things I did to Uncle Stretch.
I like the looks of these dirty dog skull bucket cable guides.

I must have been buying up a lot off stuff back in 2014. There have been quite a few items on this build from that year. One last thing is this cool 1953 Georga Peach State cereal box bicycle tag. The color and size is perfect. Only in a RRB build will you get the experience of painting paper clips with red primer.

Lowco Liner and Uncle Stretch meet for the first time.
It was great seeing Lowco in person. The black and chrome just looks incredible!

I was able to get about 45 more minutes of riding after the Doctor went home around 5pm. At that point I used up the last bit of dry weather until raindrops were falling on my head. Most of my pics were taken with thunder and even lighning flashes in the distance. It started raining on me about 5 minutes after this photo.

I really love this build. The history. The fun parts. The way the build just built itself organically with no preconceived plan (much moreso than any previous builds of mine). The way it rides. It's just been a very fun build off for me. Thanks go out to you all. I learn so much from everyone each year.

I have some good pics, but I may go out tommorrow morning for some additional pics. I'll probably go ahead and put together a Finished Thread first thing just to be safe.
