We have a tropical like system pushing in from the Atlantic, so today is 20 minutes of sunshine, 10 minutes of drizzling rain. Just enough to keep me moving the bike and tools back and forth in the courtyard.
Between rain, I have managed to drill and tap holes for the shifter. Don't worry, I plan to shove some rags into the seatube before I ride it at all.

I am happy with the alignment of the shifter. Gonna run to home depot to get some replacement screw clips for the tank halves.

The 8 ball looks great but I'm really fond of the B&M shift handle. It's more 60s hot rod and the 8 ball probably more 50s. I wonder how the B&M would look color matched to the grips. Give it an old Bakelite look. Overall the bike looks fantastic. I love the chain guard!
