I have a vise just like that green wood worker's bench vise. Made to be bolted to the side of the workbench. That way it is clear of wood moved around on the bench.

My favorite use for them is as a sheet brake for folding metal brackets and fab parts.

I've used this stuff on most of my builds since then. It's stiff and strong, but not too hard to cut and shape.

I need to find another one. I think I am down to one last strip. Just did a quick search on fb marketplace, and all of the folding beds have different newer suspension than this old good stuff.

Put the new bracket in place. Did some alignment. Clamped it down. Did some markups on the bracket. Now I can remove it and start my drilling and cutting.

Got the front bracket all drilled up and mounted. I'll trim the extra up top later.

For the rear bracket I am going to temporarily use this flattened out brake arm holder.

While connecting all of this, I needed to remove the shifter housing only to find the set screw that secures it stopped out on me. So I replaced it with another that I have.

Some nice craftsmanship on the guard in the garden. Looks good but maybe the back could be raised just a smidge?

Had a good hour ride after I bolted up the chainguard. Surprisingly, I didn't have to adjust the guard at all during the ride. No sounds or clearance issues at all. Got some good Fourth of July pics.

My Samsung has a Single Take feature where you do a 10sec video, then it kinda randomly applies different edits. In this case I did a walkaround video and it made what it calls a highlight reel.

The Single Take feature also randomly grabs pics from the video and either crops them or filters them or makes different videos from a clip. Here is a mix of regular pics and Single Take pics.
