107F is just crazy!

Official high temp recorded at DFW today .... 107F.

We rode in the morning before the absolute high of the day. We still saw this:

at the Sonic under their shade waiting for our order --- about 12:15 pm.

We got in a few miles before we loaded up and went home to the A/C.

my wife and I went and kayaked Lake Ray Hubbard this morning about 7. By the time we were done at 10:30, it was already in the low 90's. Warm day today, but nothing like last year! :shock:

Disgusting! It was 102° two days last week here in Central IL. Hottest here so far. Give me 60°, a breeze, and a flannel shirt and I'm in heaven. This 3-digit heat is just hell. :x Gary

Here in Florida, there's a small window in the morning to ride in, right as it starts to warm up, between 830am and 10am.

But it's great riding weather in North Dakota. The Greenway along the Red River at Grand Forks is a great bike route. Even if it's 90, the humidity is low, so it's comfortable. But then comes winter in October:

Riding home from work a week or so ago a bank thermometer said it was 109.
And people wonder why I come back from lunch so sweaty.

T'was 104 here a while ago, humidity was indescribable. The newspaper print was running.

Got up to 110 here in Arkansas last week... The A/C isn't running in my shop anymore so i rarely work on anything anymore..

Anything over 100 is just uncomfortable. I've been going to the river for two straight days now!
