I wrapped some Gorilla Tape around the HF LED light to provide for a friction fit in the OG Light battery tube. I followed Dr T’s lead on the lens mounting with a hole through the lens and old battery tube. I broke out a piece of the red lens edge putting in a screw, the glue is drying.

Based on your tail light, very cool btw, the build nickname could be 'Rudy'....
Feeling a little slow this AM, not seeing the “Rudy” connection, football player, former mayor, etc???

Think I’ll pass on the Rudolph moniker...that would be bassackwards anyway. Thanks for the suggestion though.
Your build is very cool!
I’m glad you like it, nothing over the top, just keeping it subtle.
Looking good. Thanks for posting that hub info earlier. [emoji106]
Hope you find that useful, lots of learning to be had in this forum.
I want that paint color in a spray can.
Think it must be an automotive color. My folks had 1950 Chevy coupe in two tone green paint. The bike color would be close to the darker roof section as I recall. Lower body was a lighter green.
If you are talking about the patina colors, you’ll have to hang out at some swap meets. Thanks.

NOS Delta fender Light...works. For perceived security I found this old working Elgin Bicycle Lock. Not sure if I want to use the fender light or not.
One of my previous BO Bikes has a bullet style Light with a lens marked as Elgin if I remember correctly. It may get switched out.

My LBS (Tom Sawyer Bicycle Shop) trued up the 78 year old Elgin rear wheel. I picked it up today along with a pair of Sunlite Sandy Beach tires. Hopefully they will fit the space available for the them.

I switched out the Fat Frank for the 26”x 2.50” Sandy Beach tire on rear wheel. Mounted they only measure out to 2.30” wide, so they fit OK. The rear is snug and as long as the wheel stays true it will work fine.

plenty of room in fender. Chain stays are tight.

I had one of the old BF Goodrich tag toppers with the mounting tab gone and the reflector chipped. So I decided to modify it since this is a rat rod project. I used an old tag reflector as the mounting bolt, so a couple of new holes were required. I used the spring to set if off the fender a ways.
