So I voyaged to Franklin Kentucky yesterday to pick up this Mercury Pacemaker that I found. I had only seen pictures of it before yesterday!

Good news and bad news.

Bad news is I believe the frame was professionally repainted at some point long ago. You'd never tell now because I cleaned up the overspray but it was definitely done well.

Good news is all the chrome and and aluminum had its original finish. The fenders have never been polished and the chrome has not been replated. The bike has some bubbling chrome and slight rust from the old batteries in the tank and taillight. The wheels, hubs, crank, sprocket, stem, bars, etc are all original chrome and near perfect.

This bike is a looker for sure.

Thanks,
Tyler

Wow, wow and wow!
I would love to ride this the next I see you!
BTW, I meant 'Stewart Warner' not 'Sturmey Archer' when referring to the floating front hub. I had something else on my mind at the time.....[emoji849]
