Picked up this one year long tank a couple weeks ago . It a 1941 & was only built from October to December. Then the War took over and they never made this model again. Unfortunately some really screwed up the paint & I don’t think the original paint is salvageable. It almost looks like it was stripped.
 
I had a similar ‘46-‘47 bike badged as a Hawthorne. It came with barn dust, cleaned it up, it went to one bike show. I later sold it at a swap meet.
