I met some crazy guy down in Ennis, TX yesterday and he traded me my 1936 Elgin for his 1942 Westfield.

What's even crazier...the guy turned out to be my Uncle! :shock:

Dang that's a nice bike... I saw it when it was originally posted and wanted it then... Can't wait to see what your plans are for this thing... Hope it stays fairly close to how it is now... :mrgreen:
 
Yeah...all I did was throw on a set of Schwinn Typhoon Cord brick tread tires and I'm calling it done. :D
 
Uncle Stretch is pretty thorough.

He replaced a few spokes, trued the wheels and installed rim strips. :D
 
Ha Ha....man Hooch, you're getting good.

And wow...that does look pretty sweet.
