I thought I would share my first proper project, still a bit of a work in progress but getting there.
No idea what the frame was originally, too many paint jobs to see, I removed as much as I could and went with a nice cheap black hammerite paint job. Original single piece crank, pedals are NOS 80s BMX rat cage type, bars from an old Yamaha 125cc, headlamp is a 60s Wipac spotlight converted to led. Really happy with the springer forks.
Seat needs a recover, the brown is too red for my tastes and I need to make some proper side panels rather than these temporary ones I chucked together.
Rides really nice, like an oversized BMX, bit front heavy from forks and light but not noticeable when you're riding. I take this one out every morning for a quick cruise round the park before the kids get up.
