1946 PREWAR Westfield Hated lime green

Ok ..while I was waiting for the vet to operate on my dog ....Infection...So far she is doing ok...I decided to finish the Hated lime green westfield. It turned out ok . Its not an elgin but hey . I built some strut rods ,but as usual the tubing I have is a little bigger than normal. But its stainless and it was here.I know everybody hated the lime green paint ,but for a change it looks pretty good So this one is finished .Enjoy

No need to apologize. I grew up on a farm, so I'm pretty hard to shock. I just thought it was a little overly visual for the more delicate types. :lol:

When I first started it a week or so ago most of the posts didnt like the color. I started doubting it myself but i wanted to go ahead and stick it together and see what it would look like. With the black added and the darts it dosent look half bad.

I thought about that but what if I mess them up . It was funny I put the lobdell aqua wheels on this one and they really looked bad. Will probably have to unspoke them and paint the rims some other color.

Humm lets see what tractor is that color an old Moline??? There is no yellow so it cant be a John Deere.

Looks good to me, I like lime green, always have, I painted a Schwinn Lemon Peeler, Kawasaki lime green, WAY back when, when I striped it down, and made a single speed BMX out of it, back when Schwinn Scramblers first came out... wish I wouldn't have now, but hay, many years ago.
