and a friend lazer cut me these vinyls :D
DSCN6439_zpsjqpt45xb.jpg

I was suppose to etch them ,but i could not find a old car charger , mine did not work cause its (inteligent) and would not detect a battery :(
also not a fan of toxic liquids , so i just used the vinyls to paint it

I am verrrry pleased of how it turned out , considering i was using spray paint and some of the lines are thinner than a pensil mark :43::113:
It will do for now , but i will eventualy make one etched/engraved

Done for an other while ! cant do the wheels until i decide what rear hub to get , 2speed or 3speed / kickback or shifter / new or old ... idk
i might get a old 3s torpedo with shifter from a friend:39:

Matt clear coat applied and rims painted :D the shine is just how i wanted now:nod:
DSCN6464_zpspci2vxuu.jpg

The rims looks plain black from a far , but are painted (oil rubbed bronze) with a little coat of metal cast (black smoke) to add a little gray tint to it , its pretty close to the color of the tires but with glossy finish

I don't rememeber showing you guys how i did my fork stopper so here is a shot of it , its a seperate part ,juste bolted with the truss rods on top ,fits very snug so it dont moveside to side... the little bolts hit the top tube when turning the fork to far and saves my tank from being destroyed by the truss :whew:

On a other note , i cracked my glass light lens . yes , the one i juste made to replace the other cracked one :( the way the lens snap in the light is prone to do that , ill have to find a way to fix that again.

And discovered , my 9vbattery setup inside the light is prone to discharge in less that 4h running or in a month without use . no good , ill have to fix that too

And here is a warning or sould i say (another Warning) angaint cheap coaster hubs on heavy rides or ridden hard . if its your only way to stop , pick a good one for safety , look at that
DSCN6463_zpsj1fuxphk.jpg

another hard braking and i was in trouble with this one :13: the hub is 3 months old only from a huffy crambrooks .. i think the problem is the washer , it bent into a cone shape letting some slack for the plate to deform also and loose some strenght , the hub was kept tight , and could not really see the problem from the other side as you may see , the plate shifted and turned only on 4/5 of the thickness on the hub side . a big beefy washer could probably prevent the problem

Well, atleast the fork stopper is cool. The hub issue, not so much. Once you have that fixed up you'll have the coolest bike in the neighborhood.

Same unknown suUuuper hard wood i used for the pedal blocks , and i little handle i made
DSCN6472_zps9ah0bxof.jpg

you can see how it will hold , one long rivet through to join them , and one smaller pin hidden inside to prevent it from rotating on the handle

Thanks to my recent job , i had access to a band saw and belt sander for the wood shaping
and also for the welding :) a little grinding and sanding and it should look like one piece !

while the last coat of clear dry on the shifter parts , i decided to mod the ugly huffy front hub

Well done, I've said it before. Would love to have this one in my garage.

Just got myself a new Eastwood mig a few months ago. Looks like we'll both be building some cool stuff.

Wow! Love all of the intricate details on this one. It's been a fun one to follow.

Turned out great man, beautiful bike! Lotsa custom there but at a glance it appears just a ol bike....purrrrrfect!
