$20 CL find....24" (Need Help with ID)

i got this one today.....

its weird.

24".....newish shimano wheelset on it.
got original wheels too....Komet.

Kenda 24"x2.125" tires....a little crackly but still holding air.

BMX stem.
Touring Bars - wth nice tan schwinn grips.
tank looks like its missing light front....dunno though.
nice springy mesinger saddle

the chainring looks like a Murray.

the frame was obviously repainted with a black/pink scheme with white vinyl striping.

anybody have any knowledge of what this actually was in its original state?

i am taking it apart right now.

the headset says schwinn on it....

there is a serial number in the rear dropouts....

Definately a Murray bike from pointed dropouts and chainring. Eventhough it is pink/black, Cool paint job.

i am thinkin its a murray too.....

the paint job is cool, especially for a girl, which is who this bike is going to be for.
but, the paint wasnt done well...its chipping. no primer underneath.

i am gonna have my guy blast it and it will get a new paint job soon....

Sure looks like a Murray, but the biplane forks might be from somewhere else.
