I got this bike from MbBlue who got it from Backpedaler. The fork and the replacement were both no good so I am looking for a replacement fork to continue the build. The fork needs to be a small headtube version and would be helpful if it had the built in truss rod guides, but it is not necessary.

I traded a nice Hawthorne Deluxe frame and fork to oldy57 a few years ago. Pm him and see if he still has it. Good luck. That will be a great looking bike when you are done. :mrgreen:

Hey Joe,
A friend of mine has one of those, a little later model but same bike, complete needing restoration, here in New London. Email me and I'll put you in touch with him if you're interested. We figure his is about a 1937- it's got 28" metal rims and skiptooth. Similar "toolbox tank". Very cool bikes.
