It should be getting way more cool very soon as well. I haven't disclosed all of the details but this week the bike will come a long way.

The frame is painted - drumrolll....

The color is an old school Wimbledon White but.....I used matte clear to cover it for an old AND new school look.

A good shot was hard to get but I will have some of the bike assembled tomorrow after I give it time to cure. In the light it has hints of yellow, sometimes brighter white, and more. Think vanilla. I hope it looks great with the different color parts going on. Stay tuned!

Roller status achieved! Before I show pics, here is a shot of my inspiration.....DRAG BIKE!

Low and agressive is the goal. Although I wont be doing much fabrication to the frame I feel I can get the basic look. The biggest part to that look IMO is a triple tree style fork. Forks were easy to find but the hurdle was a headset that would fit both the steer tube and frame tube. 1 1/8"...fit the frame but not the fork. 1" fit the fork but not the frame....UGH!!! I ended up cutting the original bearing cups to act as a spacer which worked PERFECT!

The lower parts pressed into the frame as normal and acted as the perfect spacer for the new 1" headset bearing cups.

The color is either shifting in different light or is actually darker in areas but looks rad regardless. I still can't get a pic that does it justice. Here it is next to another cruiser of mine that is bright white as a comparison.

Hopefully in the next days I can get some more parts on it once I decide on their color piece by piece.

Thank you, the color was popular in the 60s when Ford was using it a lot.

I wish I had some updates today but I am waiting on parts to help continue mock up. I did however build a rat bike today from spare parts and should have that build up tomorrow!
