This one went quick first time I had it together looked like this
But could not get it to steer right tried a lot of things but never got it right .
also drive train was never right so abandoned it and used the wheels on another bike

So then it sat around for I think a couple of years .

Then I decided to do something with it seeing I had a bunch of money tied up in it .
so stripped the ugly old repaint it had on it.

I had this seat that I redid ready to go

Got these nos fenders painted up

Got the frame powder coated first time for me usually paint my stuff

Got a set of wheels done up by a friend rear is nos CCM Westwood with skip tooth cog front is nos Westwood with unknown motorbike hub

Painted the truss rods and fenders as well as the darts and diamonds got the steering straightened out
put it all together and this is what it looks like now

I found the right combination of bearings and cups .
And won't tell what I did with the block of wood and the sledge hammer .
But just a lot of tweaking till I got it now steers beautiful.

Also with the drive train I was using a not very healthy block chain and the rear chain wheel was one of those gizmos you put on a modern hub to adapt it to skip tooth and those require a bit of finishing work to operate properly .

Now it has a real skip tooth cog and a really nice diamond roller chain .
This thing rides like a new bike maybe better than new .
