I think this project is now done. Race Inc RA29. Redid the graphics, swapped the bars for Cook Bros Ti cruiser bars and the seat for a real San Marco Regal. 23.7 lbs of radness.View attachment 218385
Rad! 🔥

My Buddy just sold his Polished CG Big Ripper for pennies, he rode it like twice. Love that bike!

I haven't been around these parts in awhile, funny how full time jobs do that anyway here's one...View attachment 250141

I put different bars, pedals, sprocket, wheels, grips, and saddle on it from stock and it is currently torn down and being stripped of paint, which is a lame time consuming job BTW, and awaiting a new look. I'll post a photoof the in progress soonish. 🤙
I laced 20mm Profile Elite Hubs to Sun Rhino rims via double butted DT spokes to 14mm black ano'd nipples front and rear. I was an early investor in these new RacInc's and waited months until the Container ship logjam in San Pedro, CA. was cleaned up to get it. I think I got box 154 or something. Anyway the early adapters they devised for the rear drop-outs were completely bogus and made the bike unrideable due to slipping in the droputs. So for at least another month it sat half while I searched for a solution with RaceInc to which there wasn't a timely one if you got one of the first bikes. So I looked and looked at options to use the drop-outs as intended, with 20mm hubs. The Profile Elites are insane and loud and actually make the bike super snappy.

The proportions are so perfect. I'd love to see a picture it in a lineup of sizes, compare it to a 20, 24, and 26" BMX. I can't believe I'm saying this, but it's even better looking than the Quadangle it replaced

Much better

So I know what was bothering me about the Bullseye pedals on the S&M. They were a bit shabby. I hit the powder coat on the cages with paint stripper and gave them a good polish. Now they sit better with the build. More appropriate.

The Cult half link chain needs to run a bit slacker that I prefer, but even with a brand new sprocket it has a moan if tighter - 1/8 v 3/32.

I put a S&M metal head badge on it. It's only DS tape-ed currently. I'm not entirely sure about it. It's pewter and won't polish any brighter (I tried).

It's too formal against the rest of the 'Marker Felt' graphics - which are only vinyl stickers on top of the clear. Because changing them. Which is cool.

SO I might de-sticker and pinstripe (tape) instead. Undecided.

I also added a polished stem bolt. It's the first bike I've had with a thread cut on the inside of the steerer tube and a M24 screw in lieu of a fangle.

Still coming:
- Anno Red stem bolts x 6.
- Better quality chain tensioners.
