My son has recently got interested in my old bikes, we’re using social distancing as a time to build him project bikes of his own. The first one he did was a 70’s Schwinn Scambler that he put a wheel set off one of his older sister’s old bikes. We are going to break it down and paint it satin black (his choice), but he has been riding the wheels off of it for a couple of weeks. The other is a ‘76 Ted Williams Bicentennial muscle bike that I’ve had for years. We put some tubes in the original tires, put a seat off of an old 80’s Huffy Sea Princess bikes. It’s cool to see him be excited about them. We’re going to go riding tomorrow maybe to see how it does!
