not a moving part on it. lot's of penetrating oil and patience and i'll hopfully have a frame and functional cushioner spring fork. what do you think? 50/50 chance :roll:

I bought a pixie for the grandkid that had the same problem.

tried this stuff called Fabulous B'laster penetrating catalyst.it worked great. Hope this helps.

PB blaster + heat + patience + muscle seems to work for me. I have been working on 5 bikes I pulled from a junk yard in north west Michigan. I have gotten most of them apart using the things I mentioned. Good luck with yours. A really cool old Colson.

uh no - still soaking. i got one bolt loose. i'm hitting it with PB Blaster once a week and gingerly working it :?

A 50/50 mix of trans fluid & acetone is supposed to be better than anything, according to an article I read...I'll see if I can find a link. Haven't tried it yet myself, had pretty good luck lately.

Buy the issue if you want to see how they did the test. The results reported were interesting. The lower the number of pounds the better. Mighty interesting results for simple acetone and tranny fluid!

1) pour acetone on rusty part
2)drink alcohol
3)smoke tobacco
