History of this bike.

My mother bought this bike for me. I was working nightshift when she sent me a text asking if I wanted this bike. I wasn’t too mad once I saw that lovely pea green and cool fenders. I immediately saw a low buck fastback/mantaray style build.

Theme of this bike

The theme is ME. My plan is to keep it simple and thrifty. Just like me [emoji23]

Basic plan

Come up with a cool name
Tires and tubes
10 speed bars wrapped in black and white
Sissy bar and seat
Lube and wax
Keith license plate
Rear hand brake
Middleweight rear rim off of 66
26x2x1 3/4 rear tire
New chain
Some sort of rack

Just got home from working the dreaded 11-7 shift. Decided to do a quickie zip tie mock up. Not sure how I feel about the bars yet. I did buy wrapping for them. I’ll probably use them. I can always go with a all original generic ape hanger style later .

I kinda want a set of the wide early stingray bars for it. It may go that way. For now I have 10 bucks worth of tape and a set of bars off of a junker
