A "Jimmy", or a "Sook".....

...does anybody know the meaning of these two terms? I am always SOOOOOOO tempted to use them here when I see "fresh finds" or any bikes for that matter! Do you know what they mean?

No cheating (google searching), but it is a clue of where I'm from!

I'll give you a hint...this is a Sook.

Okay............

I live in Maryland next to the Chesapeake Bay. Who knows how long ago, but the local watermen that harvest blue crabs from the bay penned males as "Jimmie's", and females as "Sook's". It's a habit hard to break...when I see a ladies bike like the one above, I have caught myself more than a few times almost posting..."Nice Sook"......and you folks wouldn't have a clue what I was talking about!

Well, that's the trivia lesson for the day. There will be a quiz later.
