Will you clear coat it when you are done to preserve and protect?

I'm weighing my options on that given that clear coat peels if it's not put on perfect, which could end up ruining the patina, I almost think putting a couple coats of linseed or some other type of oil would be better just reapply it before the first car show every summer.
Something that hard if the metal flexed you'd think it would crack it I think I'm just going to cover it with linseed oil when everything is said and done.
Also we got the radiator off it was full of antifreeze and water looked like mostly water so hopefully it didn't do too much to the engine.
I know a place up here near Shepparton that has lots of old 40's and 50's trucks. None of them running and all have been sitting many years, but if you are serious, pretty sure I can help you out!

Cool will keep that in mind although it is a few years away yet as need to sell a couple of blocks of land first and then buy another house on a few acres with a man cave....
Made some more progress with the CLR can't get a great pic of the driver side since there's a van parked there but it looks a lot better.
NOS tail lights should be here tomorrow I lucked out and found a matching set identical to the originals minus the rot.
We cleaned all the crud out from under the tow boom winches and got more things working will post a video hopefully tomorrow or Friday.
Needs new brake cylinders all the way around plus shoes; kind of figured that tho but my uncle says he can get them relined for free and he might also be able to get me the cylinders too.
More than likely I'll need new West Coast Mirrors (I bumped the driver side one with my head and it fell off)

I did its moved a little bit but not much.
This thing is beautiful. I agree with you, I wouldn't want it to look any other way but how it does, plumber's tape strapped on the headlight and all. Love it.
Tail lights are on and I have a couple of videos ready to upload also the "water" in the radiator might have been alcohol.
Went to Randolph swap meet this morning and found a few things biggest score being $15 for a front bumper. Kind of unsure if I want to use the lights as reverse lights tho. Also started welding the passenger side boom back together.
Just got this given to me.

Good news and bad news: good news is the head is loose and cylinders look fine, no rust or pitting. Bad news is I broke 2 bolts getting it off and one is keeping the head from coming completely off. 
Hopefully you get it sorted!

Alright well I discovered something much better than PB it's called Deep Creep I sprayed both broken head bolts with it and about half hour later I was able to unscrew the broken bolts with my fingers! I doused the cylinders with the stuff and will try to move it tomorrow if it doesn't move I'm pulling the engine for a bare block rebuild get the block boiled and all.
