Well folks...here is my find for this weekend. A very sad looking Sears Screamer. Folks say it looks like a 68', so thats what I am running with. Lol.
It needs ALOT of work obviously. It has incorrect parts through out. But to me...those handlebars still being on the bike made it worth the price I paid. If those weren't there then I wouldn't have bought it.
Needs the correct sissy bar, seat, brake levers, brake caliper set up, pedals, shifter...probably more crap thats slipping my mind. Only parts I am really worried about are the brakes. Probably won't be able to afford anything else .
I'm going to do my best to save this bike. If you have anything you can let go of for a good price...let me know. Maybe we can work something out. Thanks.
The parts I am gonna try to save are the front fender, rear fender, chainguard, and the front fork suspension set up. As of this post, I have gotten about 99% of the red/orange...and whatever other colored paint off of the front fender, and the brace as well. The chrome has seen better days but it still shines. Its just dull.
